1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Draftbox, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any additional policies referenced in them, including the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement, and the Payments and Cancellations Policy.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized use.
Draftbox may support password-based login, Google sign-in, enterprise SSO, and optional passkeys. Access to some features may depend on account verification, security state, product tier, or administrative approval.
3. The Service
Draftbox provides tools for capturing, storing, editing, versioning, organizing, searching, sharing, and retrieving workspace content, files, attachments, contacts, calendar-related information, and AI- assisted outputs.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features from time to time, including integrations, AI capabilities, storage workflows, and collaboration controls.
4. Customer Content
You retain responsibility for the content you upload, create, connect, import, generate, or share through Draftbox, including text, files, attachments, calendar-derived content, repository content, and AI prompts.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to use that content with Draftbox and to authorize any connected third-party access that you enable.
5. Connected Third-Party Services
Draftbox may allow you to connect third-party accounts and services, including Google Calendar, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. You authorize Draftbox to access and process the data made available through those connections solely to provide the features you request.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to connect any third-party account, repository, calendar, file store, or other external resource. If you connect a private repository, private drive, or other restricted resource, you are responsible for the consequences of making that content available to Draftbox.
Your use of connected services remains subject to the separate terms and policies of those providers.
6. Connected-Service Data Restrictions
If you authorize Draftbox to access Google Calendar, Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox data, Draftbox will use that data only to provide or improve the user-facing features you request, such as sync, import, retrieval, summarization, drafting assistance, and workspace organization.
Draftbox will not sell data obtained from Google Workspace APIs and will not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
7. AI Features
Draftbox may offer AI-assisted features that use prompts, indexed content, selected workspace context, uploaded documents, or connected-service content to produce summaries, drafts, search results, suggestions, or other outputs.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for critical decisions. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before using them in business, legal, financial, medical, or compliance-sensitive contexts.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Draftbox to:
- Violate applicable law or the rights of others.
- Upload, transmit, or share content that you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, authentication safeguards, rate limits, or security restrictions.
- Use the service to distribute malware, spam, or abusive automated traffic.
- Reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Use connected integrations or AI features in a way that breaches third-party platform terms, privacy requirements, or data-use restrictions.
9. Collaboration and Sharing
Draftbox may allow you to share boxes, files, and items with other users. You are responsible for selecting the correct permissions and for understanding that users with granted access may view, copy, edit, or act on shared content according to the permissions you assign.
10. Security and Availability
We take reasonable steps to secure the service, but Draftbox is provided on an evolving technology stack and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will always be free from errors, delays, or vulnerabilities.
11. Paid Plans, Add-Ons, and Cancellation
Draftbox may offer recurring paid subscriptions and one-time paid add-ons. Payment processing is handled through Stripe. By starting a paid plan or paid add-on purchase, you authorize the applicable charge and any recurring subscription renewals until the subscription is canceled.
Certain AI-enabled features may also be billed based on metered usage, with charges calculated by Draftbox and invoiced through Stripe as part of the applicable billing flow.
Subscription cancellations currently take effect at the end of the active billing period unless a stricter immediate-cancellation flow is triggered by account deletion or required by law. A scheduled cancellation may be removed before the end of the current billing period if the subscription remains active.
Draftbox does not promise automatic prorated refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or voluntary early cancellation, except where required by law or where Draftbox explicitly agrees to do so. Additional billing details are described in the Payments and Cancellations Policy.
12. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Draftbox if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created security risk, misused connected-service access, or exposed the platform or other users to legal or operational harm.
You may stop using Draftbox at any time. Some residual data may be retained for security, backup, compliance, or dispute-resolution purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual Property and Feedback
Draftbox and its service design, software, and branding are owned by Draftbox or its licensors. If you provide feedback or product suggestions, you grant Draftbox a non-exclusive right to use that feedback to improve the service without further obligation to you.
14. Disclaimers
Draftbox is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Except as expressly stated, we disclaim implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non- infringement, and uninterrupted service availability.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Draftbox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
